Transformation in the desert.
Integration by the sea.

A week in Sinai to step out of everyday life, listen more deeply and reconnect with yourself, with others and with the living land around you.

What becomes audible when life grows quiet?

In the desert, there is less to distract us. We begin to hear the quieter voices within us—the ones that are easily lost in everyday life.

For several days, we travel with camels and local Bedouins through Sinai. We walk, rest, share food cooked over an open fire and sleep outside beneath the stars. There is time alone and time together.

We let go of familiar habits and roles. We listen to what is present and follow the impulses that arise. Nothing has to be forced. What is still hidden may slowly begin to unfold.

Between the night sky,
the desert and the sea,
we remember who we truly are.

We follow what arises.

Some moments need silence. Others ask for guidance, movement, ritual or sharing. We decide while we are there, in response to the people and the moment.

Ritual

We create ceremonies together and receive the impulses that are present.

Energy

We listen to the silence and allow the ancient power of the desert to move through us.

Connection

With yourself, with one another, with the living land and with the Divine within you.

Surrender

We let go of control, follow the inner impulses and allow what wants to emerge.

Joy of life

By the sea, there is time to integrate, be together, rest and enjoy life.

Sleeping outside.
Under the stars.

Simple, close to the earth and held by the vastness around us.

The route and daily rhythm give us a clear framework. What happens within it remains open: quiet time, guided sequences and rituals arise while we are there. Everyone is welcome to contribute.

Alexandra and Claudio laughing together in Sinai

Alexandra & Claudio

We hold the space together, each in our own way.

Alexandra is a mother of three, a PhD biologist, intuitive healer and facilitator of transformation. Since 2021, she has facilitated workshops and group processes exploring radical honesty, anger, different ways of knowing, systemic change, meditation, energy work and mindfulness. She creates spaces in which people can soften, listen and return to their own inner knowing.

Claudio is a warm-hearted person who brings people together naturally. He offers workshops on releasing triggers held in the body and has a special gift for becoming the heart of a community.

We travel with trusted local Bedouin guides whom we know personally. Their knowledge of the desert has been carried through generations. They are committed to preserving their relationship with the land and to passing this knowledge on, including teaching younger generations how to live in the desert.

Your questions

Is this journey for me?

This journey is for people moving through a period of change, seeking distance from everyday life and digital media, or wishing to reconnect with the earth, nature and themselves. The group is limited to a maximum of ten participants. The journey is primarily intended for adults; young people aged 13 and over may join by prior agreement with us.

How physically demanding is it?

On most days, you should be comfortable walking for up to two hours on natural, uneven ground. No exceptional level of fitness is required. Camel riding is an important and beautiful part of the journey, but it is not compulsory and you may walk instead. The sunrise ascent of Mount Sinai is optional and considerably more demanding; the complete ascent and descent may take approximately five to seven hours.

Where do we sleep and wash?

We spend three nights sleeping beneath the open sky in the desert and one night in Saint Catherine. Blankets are provided to create a sleeping place on the ground in the desert, and each participant brings their own sleeping bag. There are no conventional toilets or washing facilities during the three nights in the desert. Washing facilities are available in Dahab and Saint Catherine. The simplicity of life in the desert is an intentional part of the experience.

What will we eat and drink?

Three vegetarian meals per day are included, together with water, tea and coffee. Please tell us about vegan, gluten-free or other dietary requirements before booking. We will organise suitable meals wherever possible, but special dietary requirements cannot be guaranteed.

What do I organise myself?

All transfers within the announced journey programme and timeframe are organised and included. You organise your flights, transfer to the first accommodation, sleeping bag, personal snacks, clothing and medication. Insurance is not mandatory; each participant is responsible for their own health, medical expenses, personal decisions and insurance coverage during the journey.
